Leadership Workload, Authority, and Footprint

Clarify what you own, what you influence, and what's outside your lane.

Draw three circles. What you decide, what you influence, and what you're simply informed about.

Put your current workload into those circles. Anything sitting in the wrong one is either a delegation opportunity or a conversation you need to have with your own leader.

Revisit this whenever your remit changes. It moves more often than people expect.
